Spirit Entities walk constantly among us, It is only our UNAWARENESS that makes us feel safe!
The young couple in this case live in a mobile home that juts up against a moderate sized woods. They have several small animals and no children. Thier story began approximately six months ago when for no reason that they could fathom they began experiencing unusual phenomena within thier residence. They report the following activity in this chronological order; 1. A large mirror in their home began to slowly develop a picture on it. This took approximately two weeks and it turned out to be an angel blowing a trumpet. They left the picture there for a while then washed it off. The picture began to form again within days of it's removal.
2. Began to hear footsteps coming from the front porch then seeming to originate in the living room. This activity repeats itself up to a dozen times daily.
3. The woman reports hearing someone whistling (very faintly), and has heard someone utter individual words.
4. Cats begin acting odd. Hiding and not eating. Sometimes they will act as if they are looking at something, then open thier eys real wide and take off running. Refuse to enter the living room.
5. Objects dissappear then reappear later.
6. Bar of soap thrown at the woman while she was showering.
Our initial investigation took place on Saturday night, July 18th, 1998. Our small team consisted of myself, Valerie Kramer, Christopher Tillman of the Toledo, Ohio S.P.I.R.I.T. Chapter and his wife, Crystal. We arrived at the residence at approximately 10:00 P.M.
After we collected more information from them we began "walking through" thier home. They have a small bedroom in the back of the mobile home that was closed off and we were asked not enter this particular area. I myself felt nothing on my walk through. No cold spots, no energy peaks or drains, the other team members also reported feeling nothing.
We photographed the house from front to back, inside and outside using approximately 72 frames, We also set up to tape for electronic voice phenemona through out the night. The EVP tape was blank with the exception of "white" noise. Our photo's did not show anything either. Although we were disappointed we will be keeping track of the activity there, with the possibility
of reinvestigating at a later time.
This case has been one of my more interesting cases. I have been in this home on several occassions. It is an old farm house built most probably and the end of the last century I would guestimate between 100 and 125 years old. It is probably the oldest house on "Old State Line Road", the others having sprung up around it. It is still a pretty rural area. It sits on 60 acres with Indian Mounds at the back of the property, which no one has been brave enough to disturb. The acreage is pretty much "virgin", never having been planted or used for any purpose in recordable history.
Until about three years ago this house had not been remodeled or updated in any way. The cellar is still all dirt it doesn't even have support walls, and the second story of the house remains exactly as it was 100+ years ago. So our Story finally begins.
A young woman came to my door and asked me to come out to her house and investigate it. She and her friend reported the following types of incidences:
1. flickering lights
2. stereo turning itself on
3. door to the upstairs would not stay locked and was always openeing
4. an overwhelming sense of doom
5. dog would not go near the upstairs but would stand a few feet from the doorway and bark
6. miscellaneous articles coming up missing and reappearing in the upstairs
7. multiple appliance failures (all appliances were new)
8. icy cold radiating from the storage pantry off the kitchen, variable cold spots throughout the house
9. chronic nightmares by both residents
10. lamp shade in the living room slowly tilted itself sideways, and does so repeatedly even after being straightened.
11. Rapid and heavy footsteps heard particularly in the kitchen and the upstairs
As I got out of my car on the dirt driveway I also felt the "overwhelming" doom. The cold seems to radiate from the whole house, even to the outdoors. Although late June and HOT (temp in the upper 80's) I felt chilly. I also noticed a large piece of sheet metal that appeared to be anchored into the ground somehow. I definitely had a bad feeling about this spot.Apparently it is an old well that has been sealed up since they moved in. I was able to do a complete walk through the whole house. My impression was a very heavy atmosphere, there is no place where you feel alone. Also a feeling of great sadness as I went up the stairs. There is a small landing that sits between the three upstairs bedrooms, the door is off so it is open and you can easily see in when you reach the top step. Carved into the old fasioned plaster are the words "HELP ME". Stepping into the closet I felt extreme apprehension and dread. My psychic impression is that a young boy around age 8 died here. I actually saw him, dressed in knee pants and missing one shoe. There is more than one active entity here, there are several, all children as far as I can tell. I did not get a chance to tape, and the owners preferred not to know. The woman said she would literally die if something turned up on tape. WE did however get a picture with some ectoplasm in it. I want to rephotograph this house, however the couple are no longer together and it is difficult to reach the remaining resident.
There is also an old and very battered small outbuilding on the property that is kept locked up. The original owner told them to just leave it alone, and after all the spirit troubles they've had neither one was ever curious enough to open it. I'm going to try to get the opportunity to do so. I'll keep you posted!
